게나

하게체 Command

Used to give commands or requests to a junior or someone with whom one is on familiar terms, in the 하게체 speech level. Identical to :grammar[verb_게]{하게체-command} in meaning, but expresses a more familiar and friendly tone.

• 어서 오게나.

  eoseo ogena.

  Come on in.

• 혼자만 알고 있게나.

  혼자만 알고 읻께나.said like thishonjaman algo itgena.

  Let this be a secret between us.

• 수건 좀 가져다주게나.

  수건 좀 가저다주게나.said like thissugeon jom gajeodajugena.

  Could you bring me a towel?
