Refund policy
Version 0.1-draft · Effective: not in effect yet — draft published ahead of launch
Nothing is on sale yet. Korwid is not on the Chrome Web Store and no paid plan exists. This policy is published ahead of launch so the terms are visible before anyone is asked to pay.
1. The short version
If the extension does not do what this site says it does, ask for a refund and you will get one. We would rather refund you than keep money from someone the product did not help.
2. Who you are buying from
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record. Paddle sells the subscription to you, handles payment and taxes, and is the party named on your receipt. That means Paddle processes the refund and returns the money to your original payment method. We never see or hold your card details.
Paddle's own buyer terms apply on top of this policy. Where Paddle's terms give you more than this page does, Paddle's terms win.
3. What we refund
- Within 14 days of your first payment — no reason needed. Ask and we approve it. This covers the case where you paid, tried it, and it was not for you.
- A renewal you did not intend. If an annual or monthly renewal charged you and you had not used the service since the previous period, tell us and we refund that period.
- The service was broken for you. If subtitles did not appear, the overlay was misaligned, or a platform change stopped it working, and we could not fix it for you, we refund the period affected. This is not limited to 14 days.
- A purchase made by a minor without permission. We do not contest these.
- A change on our side removed something you paid for. If we discontinue a feature you were paying for, cancel and ask — we refund the remainder of the period.
4. What we do not refund
- Periods you already used, after the 14 days in section 3, when the service was working. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.
- Charges from a different seller. If your statement shows a name that is not Paddle or Korwid, it is not us.
- Repeated refund requests on the same account where the service was working each time. We may decline and close the account instead.
5. Your legal right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another country with a statutory cooling-off period, you keep that right in full. Nothing on this page reduces it. Where the statutory period is longer or broader than section 3, the statutory right applies.
6. How to ask
- Use the Paddle receipt email you were sent — it links to Paddle's buyer portal, where you can request a refund directly. This is the fastest route.
- Or email us at muso27723@gmail.com with the email address you paid with and, if you have it, the Paddle order reference from your receipt.
We reply within 5 business days. Once approved, Paddle issues the refund; how long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 3–10 business days.
7. What happens to your access
- A refund ends the paid plan immediately. The extension keeps working on the free daily limit.
- Your saved words are not deleted by a refund. They stay in your account, and you can export them at any time — see your data.
8. Cancelling without a refund
Cancel any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for. You do not need to contact us to cancel.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the version and date at the top change with it. A change never applies retroactively to a payment you already made — the policy in force on the day you paid is the one that governs it.
