Condition

Used when the preceding statement becomes the condition of the following statement.

  • 공부를 열심히 하면 좋은 성적이 좋아집니다.

    공부를 열심히 하면 조은 성저기 조아짐니다.said like thisgongbureul yeolsimhi hamyeon joeun seongjeogi joajimnida.

    If you study hard, your grades will improve.

  • 내일 시간이 있으면 같이 영화를 볼래요?

    Shall we watch a movie together if you have time tomorrow?

Supposition

In English: when

Used to suppose or assume something that has not yet happened.

  • 내가 죽으면 우리 아이들은 누가 돌보니?

    내가 주그면 우리 아이드른 누가 돌보니?said like thisnaega jugeumyeon uri aideureun nuga dolboni?

    When I die, who will take care of our children?

  • 시험이 끝나면 푹 쉴 거예요.

Repetitive

Used to indicate a habitual and repetitive condition.

  • 남편은 내가 잠들어 있으면 깨우지 않으려고 살금살금 걸어 다닌다.

    남펴는 내가 잠드러 이쓰면 깨우지 아느려고 살금살금 거러 다닌다.said like thisnampyeoneun naega jamdeureo isseumyeon kkaeuji aneuryeogo salgeumsalgeum georeo daninda.
