How Hangul typing works
Korean is not typed letter after letter in a line. The letters stack into square blocks — one block per syllable. You type ㅎ, ㅏ, ㄴ and the three snap together into 한.
That is why a consonant can jump forward: type 한 then ㅏ and you get 하나 — the ㄴ leaves the first block and starts the second, because a syllable that has a vowel wants the consonant in front of it.
